Starting in 2009, Georgia Tech and the Center has hosted and/or co-organized an annual Health & Humanitarian Logistics Conference. The conference brings brings together participants from all over the world to provide a forum for non-governmental organizations (NGO), corporations, academia, and government to learn and collaborate across their institutions, promote system-wide improvements in their organizations and the sector as a whole, identify important research issues to be addressed, and establish priorities.
The Georgia Tech Health & Humanitarian Logistics Center (HHL) is dedicated to improving systems and logistics operations in disaster response (short-term or ongoing, natural or man-made), long-term development and global public health to ultimately improve the human condition through education, outreach, projects and research.
